Summary

It took a while to get the models running, but in the end, we had a lot of fun with the workshop. The participants were able to implement a monocular depth estimation model and apply it to their own images. The results were impressive, especially considering that most participants had no prior experience with deep learning or computer vision.

Conclusion

As the most models are developed by researchers, they are not always easy to use. The workshop showed that it is possible to use these models in a practical way, even for people with no prior experience. The participants were able to implement the models and apply them to their own images, which was a great success.
